    Data deletion instructions

    01.Delete data & connections (self-service)

    You can delete your linked services or your entire ROUT account yourself at any time. Here is how.

    1. Sign in to your ROUT account.
    2. Open the Studio (your dashboard).
    3. Disconnect a specific service: go to Live Status & Thoughts or Links & Components, open the linked service (for example YouTube or Snapchat) and click Disconnect. Its OAuth tokens are immediately and permanently deleted from our database and access is revoked.
    4. Delete your whole account: go to Settings and click Delete account. All your personal data, active links, profile data and database records are destroyed immediately. No copies remain, apart from anonymised server logs used for DDoS prevention.
    5. Manual request: you can also email contact@rout.be from your registered email address asking for full deletion of your data. Requests are handled within 30 days under the GDPR.

    02.Revoke access at the provider

    You can also remove ROUT's access directly at the provider, for example in your Google Account under Security → Third-party apps, or in your Meta and Snapchat app settings.
